scott davis

Principal and Teacher

(Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Music Production, Songwriting, Band)

With 27 years spent learning and writing music and over 20 years of teaching experience, Scott operates Riffpad full-time with the goal of helping as many people as possible through music education and by being of benefit to the wider community around him.

​

Scott has worked with award-winning composers, producers, educators and session musicians all across the globe and currently a composer on the Universal Production Music roster through the labels APM and Hypersonic.

​

With such extensive knowledge of his instrument, Scott is regularly asked to record guitars for remote sessions and has co-produced full tracks for renowned artists such as Ill Niño and brands such as Lenovo.

KATHERINE KHOURY

Teacher

(Piano, Singing, Saxophone, Trumpet, Flute)

Katherine is a musical educator of 5 years with 10 years of performance experience. She specialises in orchestral arrangement and performance across a variety of stylings from traditional symphonies to neo-classical works.

 

Katherine is a highly accomplished and experienced player across all woodwind and brass instruments, as well as on the piano and with her voice. She is also highly skilled in the use of digital composition programs such as Sibelius and MuseScore.


Katherine believes in a tailored approach centered around a students fundamental love of music, where she uses what is natural to the student to foster a wider knowledge and love for the theory and inner workings of music.

cody spranger

Teacher

(Drums)

Cody started his journey on the drums when he was just 13 and has followed his passion through to tertiary education where he is currently undertaking his Bachelor of Music degree at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in his second year.

​

Passionate about seeing others succeed, Cody's teaching style is relaxed and supportive, yet fun and dynamic. Rest assured, you will have solid footing as a drummer with Cody on your side as he is focused on the fundamental building blocks that help create brilliant players.

​

Cody was personally vetted and sent to us by our good friend and owner of Central Coast Drum Academy, Ryan Mathison, who has mentored Cody for close to a decade.

daniel enriquez

Teacher

(Guitar, Ukulele)

Daniel is one of our resident guitar teachers and has just completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

​

Daniel's knowledge of the instrument as well as his extensive understanding of music theory makes him a great choice for anyone wanting to incorporate advanced musical concepts into their playing style.

 

Daniel also regularly gigs as part of multiple outfits across Sydney from duo's and trio's to full big band setups so you'll be sure to see him around.

​

His influences range from classic rock and pop, to traditional jazz and beyond. We are certain Daniel will help elevate your playing!
